This Privacy Policy explains what information KBM AimAssist ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and desktop application (together, the "Service"), and how that information is used.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and password, handled by our authentication provider, Supabase. We never see or store your password in plain text.
• Payment information: processed directly by Stripe when you subscribe or purchase access. We do not receive or store your full card number - only limited billing metadata (plan, billing period, subscription status) needed to manage your access.
• Usage/entitlement data: the desktop application periodically checks your subscription status with our server so paid features stay available only while your subscription is active.
• Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) generated automatically by visiting the website, used only for security and troubleshooting.

How We Use Information

• To create and secure your account and authenticate you when you sign in.
• To process payments and manage your subscription (renewals, cancellations, refunds).
• To verify entitlement to paid features from the desktop application.
• To respond to support requests and communicate important account or billing notices.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the site; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service: Supabase(authentication and database hosting) and Stripe (payment processing). Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Data Retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations after account closure. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us below.

Cookies & Local Storage

The website uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits. This is required for the Service to function and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
